Wyatt Completes Acquisition of the Assets of Proterion Corporation

Wyatt Technology has completed the acquisition of the assets of Proterion Corporation (formerly Protein Solutions). Proterion was a supplier of computer-controlled life sciences instrumentation for particle sizing and biomolecular characterization of protein molecules for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets. Headquartered in Piscataway, New Jersey, Proterion has over 1000 systems installed worldwide.
The company's manufacturing facility, based in High Wycombe, United Kingdom, as well as assets from the New Jersey offices, will be transferred to Wyatt Technology's headquarters in Santa Barbara. Several staff from the UK and New Jersey offices are also expected to join Wyatt Technology shortly.
